Urban Outfitters x Athens Pride

Urban Outfitters teamed up with Athens Pride to raise awareness about LGBTQ+ rights and inclusivity. I was brought onto the project as the event photographer, capturing the interaction between the community and the UO staff.

Urban Outfitters produced a new line of shirts based around Pride, which were featured at the event. For each shirt sold, UO pledged to donate ten dollars to GLSEN: an organization based around ending gender identity and expression discrimination. UO also distributed complimentary Pride buttons for anyone who visited the Athens Pride table. Members of the Athens Pride staff set up a table to speak with shoppers about ways they could become involved in supporting the LGBTQ+ community on a local level.
