Studio Session with Libby Baxter

An afternoon spent with fabric artist, Libby Baxter, photographing her and her beautiful handwoven rugs

I’ve known Libby since I was 5 years old. She has always been someone whose creativity I admire and aspire to reflect in my own life. Lately, even more so as she pursues her love of art as a fabric design student at the University of Georgia. At age 22, she is developing a personal style marked by bright colors and fun patterns and textures, an eclectic mix that is a lot like herself. I was able to spend the afternoon chatting with Libby about her upcoming career goals and overall life ambitions. A session spent filled with music, joy, and laughter. So grateful for and so proud of this wild child that I get to call a friend.

“Joy, laughter, beautiful, artist. These are all words I would use to describe Libby.”
